Today we mourn the loss of Charlie Kirk — a young man of deep conviction, great courage, and unshakable faith. He was more than a public figure; he was someone who believed in this country with all his heart, who committed himself to truth, liberty, and service. God called him to speak out, and he answered that call.

In times like these, when violent evil tries to steal more than a life — when it attempts to destroy hope — we must remember that our faith is the foundation on which we will stand. We believe in a God who overcomes darkness with light; who calls us not to fear, but to trust; who reminds us that love, even when tested by tragedy, endures.

Charlie’s death reminds us that we cannot remain silent in the face of hatred or intimidation. But also, we cannot respond with hatred. True faith teaches us temperance, humility, forgiveness, and strength born of righteousness. The path forward must be one of courage — not vengeance — anchored in prayer and service.

I ask every American — whether you stood with Charlie or not — to join me now in prayer for his family, especially his wife and children. Pray for their comfort; pray for our country. Let us draw together, bound by the faith that sustains us in dark hours.

I also ask you to honor Charlie’s life by living with purpose. Let your faith show in the way you treat your neighbor; in the boldness to stand for truth; in the compassion for those who are hurting. Let us recommit to the principles on which this nation was founded: liberty under God, equality, freedom of speech, and the dignity of every human being.

Yes, this is a painful day. But even in grief, we bear witness to something greater than ourselves. Charlie’s voice, his faith, his legacy will endure. Because faith is not erased by death — it is carried forward by the living.
