What is Wan 3.0?
Wan 3.0 is the newest model in Alibaba's Wan family of AI video models and the successor to Wan 2.7. It turns a text prompt, a photo or a set of reference media into a 5 to 15 second video at up to 1080p, and it generates the sound in the same pass as the picture.
It can also extend a finished clip, and a built-in prompt enhancer rewrites short prompts into fuller ones before generating; you can switch it off. On SendFame it runs in the browser, with no Alibaba account and no API key.
Wan 3.0 vs Wan 2.7
Both are on SendFame and share one account. The differences that matter:
- Resolution: Wan 3.0 adds 480p for cheap drafts and keeps 720p and 1080p. Wan 2.7 renders at 720p or 1080p.
- References: Wan 3.0 takes up to 10 images, 5 video clips and 5 audio tracks to guide a shot. Wan 2.7 takes an end frame but no references.
- Aspect ratios: Wan 3.0 adds 4:3 and 3:4 to 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1.
- Price: a 5 second clip costs 10 credits with Wan 3.0 at 480p and 20 at 720p, against 20 credits with Wan 2.7 at 720p.

- Generate and download the MP4, or extend the clip to keep the shot going.
